A newly launched website is billing itself as the world’s first responsible investment platform for women. Moxie Future was started to “fill the gap in the market” for information and support for women who want to invest for good returns while doing good.
Its founder, Jessica Robinson, is an advisor to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment, a network of international investors that work to incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment decisions. Moxie Future has published an online Responsible Investment Roadmap as a guide to financial planning, and says it will roll out a resource center that features tools, funds, and investment options.
This fall, Moxie Future will release research on the investment habits of women. Preliminary key findings include that 79% of women surveyed think there is an urgent need to take action towards creating a better world, and that 69% claim it is important that their financial decisions reflect what they believe.
