As a part of our India Investment Initiative we have provided a $5 million loan to Varthana, of which $3.125 million is guaranteed by the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). Varthana is helping to grow affordable private schools in India by exclusively providing them with loan captal. These loans finance the expansion of classrooms and playground facilities and vital academic and extracurricular tools that students need to learn with.
